The Capital Man and Capital Woman screens differ from our Executive Health screens in that you will spend 30 minutes with the doctor as opposed to 1 hour and the E.C.G, hearing test and respiratory function and analysis tests will not be carried out.

What is involved?

  • Health tests with the screening nurse to include;
    • Height / weight
    • Waist / hip ratio

    • Full Cholestoral Profile
    • Kidney Function

The blood test will be taken following an 8 hour fast (we like to perform screenings in the morning so a patient can have some lunch.)

Women will be offered a pelvic examination and a smear if clinically indicated, together with a breast examination and be taught to examine themselves.
Men may wish to have their PSA tested, which can be arranged for an additional cost of £45.  This test is usually performed on males over the age of 50 years and gives an assessment of the prostate gland.
